We're back! HaBaWaBa Spain 2021 is a reality
The third edition of the Festival is finally here, from April 1 to 4 in Tarragona
After two first successful editions in Barcelona 2018 and Reus 2019, HaBaWaBa Spain is back in 2021. The third edition of the most important water polo festival among young players will be held during the 2021 Easter at the Sylvia Fontana swimming pool in Tarragona. It will be open to U12 (alevín) and U14 (infantil) age groups.
After a season with no HaBaWaBa Spain, this new edition of the Festival comes with the clear intention of spreading the passion for water among the very young, always with fair play and fun as the top priorities.
The competition will take place from on April 1, 2 and 3. On the last day, April 4, all participants will enjoy an entire day at PortAventura World.
The Festival welcomes teams from Spain but also from others countries in the world. In the past two editions there has been a relevant international presence in the HaBaWaBa Spain, with teams from 9 and 8 countries respectively.
The three key locations
The competition's venue will be the Sylvia Fontana pool, recently built for the Tarragona 2018 Mediterranean Games. An outdoor Olympic pool located in the heart of the city's Mediterranean Ring.
As in 2019, HaBaWaBa and PortAventura will go hand in hand once again to offer all participants a full day in one of the best theme parks in Europe.
In addition to fun, another important value of HaBaWaBa is to promote coexistence between participants. That is why a series of leisure and recreational activities will be organized to make the HaBaWaBa experience unforgettable. Teams will be housed at the Complex Educatiu in Tarragona, a residence with several sports facilities, green spaces and a dining room with its own kitchen.
